Volunteering

Ability Shetland would not be were it is today without the help of our amazing volunteers. Volunteers help throughout our charity in various roles. This includes, club volunteers, boat skippers, drivers, trustees and so much more.

We are always looking for new volunteers and need your help! Could you spare a few hours at one of our clubs, do you have your own car to drive clients to/ from clubs, can you drive a minibus, do you want to help at our events and sporting competitions, or have you got the skills to become one of our skippers? If yes to any of these questions, we want to hear from you.

All training, mileage and other costs will be paid by Ability Shetland.

Young people from the age of 12 can volunteer with Ability Shetland as a helper.
